Excel Fundraising supported the CEWL during a critical period in 2017 by playing a hands-on role in stabilizing and relaunching the league when it was at serious risk of collapse. This work included developing clear and practical operational plans to restore structure, consistency, and long-term sustainability, as well as designing and delivering comprehensive member satisfaction surveys to identify concerns, rebuild trust, and inform decision-making. Excel Fundraising also led a full refresh of the league’s visual and digital presence through the redesign of its logo and website, helping re-establish credibility and pride among members.

In addition, Excel Fundraising provided essential governance support by drafting and updating bylaws and policies, clarifying roles and responsibilities, and supporting board training to strengthen leadership, oversight, and effective decision-making. To improve communication and engagement during the relaunch, Excel Fundraising implemented email marketing initiatives to keep members informed, aligned, and connected throughout the transition. The work also included integrating real-time scheduling and standings, ensuring members had access to accurate, up-to-date information as league operations resumed. Together, these coordinated efforts were instrumental in saving the league, rebuilding confidence, and positioning the CEWL for a successful relaunch and future growth.
